CLEVELAND -- Do you remember Rascal House Pizza as it was in the 80s & 90s? Founder Mike Frangos invites you to think back, way back. “We were a close group of friends, we sponsored cruises, had parties, planned concerts and many, many other events” he continues “I just want to bring everyone together, see old friends, hear and share the memories and make a few new ones”.

New memories will be made! On July 17th, what is currently the Rascal House parking lot will transform into a stage and play area. Locally famous bands from the era, Buff and the Hooters and Pieces of 8 will each have their turn on stage and will play for those wishing to take a walk down memory lane. There will be corn-hole tournaments, raffles, a photo slide show, home movies and of course pizza for all.

When asked what the inspiration for the event was Mr. Frangos said “Well, we’ve been here for over 30 years and my wife & I often see hands waving from across the dining room belonging to faces of men and woman who were kids that either worked here or went to CSU and now they want to introduce their children to us. I’ve even had couples come up to say they stop in often, they’re married now, but this is where they met and shared some wonderful memories (I was a secret match maker)!!”

The Rascal House Reunion will be held at the original location on Euclid Avenue & 21st St in Downtown Cleveland on July 17, 2010 from 2 – 9pm. Admission is only a $10 donation. Guests will receive admission to the concerts, pizza, beer tickets and access to all of the events for the day. All proceeds will benefit Leukemia and Science Research at the College of Science at Cleveland State University.
